Dear family,
I am Joyce, from the Philippines. I am a creative soul who enjoys anything related to arts and literature. I like to paint, draw, and do some crafts or DIYs. I also enjoy taking pictures and videos and then editing them. I like to keep a physical as well as a digital album to treasure special memories. Aside from those, I am also into baking and making desserts. TMI, I do have a sweet tooth. In addition to those, I also love to garden. I love taking care of flowers and growing fruits and vegetables.
I have joined the Au Pair program because I want to try exploring the world. I want to grow personally and try immersing myself in new places and diverse cultures while meeting new faces and varied people from different walks of life. Furthermore, I want to experience an adventure in my twenties so that, in the future, I can have something that I can reminisce about.
Aside from those, I hope that this experience will enable me to gain some experiences, learnings, and skills that will be relevant and will help me, as I am also planning to travel, work, and study and, if possible, live overseas for a longer time in the future so that I can enjoy and explore more places.
