New Zealand Nanny / Mature Aged / Internationally Experienced
Hi. I'm looking for a full-time position or part-time, live-in, nanny position with a family who wants their nanny to become part of the family.
I am a fully qualified Nanny having passed the course at the Taranaki Polytechnic, New Plymouth here in New Zealand.
I was born in the UK and have lived in New Zealand since I was 2 years of age, which makes me very lucky in the fact that I can travel between these 2 countries.
I consider myself to be a sociable person who enjoys family and friends. I do think that I am a considerate, hardworking and an honest person. I do love meeting people from different cultures and it has really helped me grow as a person.
Most of my nanny experience is from working with families that have school-aged children. I have had experience with other age groups, as this was a requirement through the nanny course I completed in New Plymouth. Even though it hasn’t been my overall preference, I am very happy from my experiences over the years.
Some of my interests are photography, history, art-history, classical and modern art. I enjoy cycling for enjoyment and to keep healthy.
The reason that I'm seeking employment in the UK is that I have extended family based in Hereford and Wiltshire and I'm hoping to keep in touch with them. I have lived in London and in Bath in the past and I really enjoyed both experiences.
I have, over the years, worked for a variety of families. I have a range of knowledge in early childhood development as well as age-appropriate activities. I am hoping to meet a family that enjoy playing out in the outdoors, whether it's just playing in the park, cycling, or going out on trips; like to the museum.
One of my loves is cooking, and I have quite an extensive array of recipes that I draw from. I can also create a few dishes that the Mum’s and Dad’s will also enjoy :)
London is one city that I love coming back to, due to variety of culture activities that are available, such as the galleries, museums and cafés. Even though my first choice is to live in London I would very happy living somewhere else. What is more important to me is finding a great family.
