Dear host family, my name is Eden, I'm 19 years old and I would love to join your family for 3-6 months and be a big sister to your child/ children. I've been lucky enough to grow up in New Zealand, and spent 7 months of 2023 travelling parts of South East Asia, Europe, and Morocco, where I fell in love with travelling and learning about new cultures, meeting new people, experiencing different ways of living, and exploring beautiful parts of the world, which has inspired me to become a Nanny. What appeals to me about being a Nanny is immersing myself in a new culture, and becoming a local in a new city. I've always wanted to be an older sister and I will bring a fun, responsible, patient, creative and caring energy to your family. I love nature, animals, cooking, going to parks, the beach, art galleries, and would love to learn a new language! I am very flexible and happy to take on household tasks and I have my drivers license.
I love children and spending time creating lasting memories with them, and providing a caring and nurturing environment. I have babysat for a few families in my neighbourhood, where I have looked after kids between the ages of 1-12, and have loved watching them grow up over the years. During my travels in 2023 I volunteered in Hungary, where I lived with a lovely family and helped with the children's (ages 6,8 and 12), English practices. I learnt a lot in the two weeks I stayed with them, and I loved being able to immerse myself in a new culture, and create connections with the children despite the language barrier. I understand it must be difficult to choose someone to look after your child, so I am happy to provide any references.
I think it's so special to have this opportunity to become a member of your family for a short time, and I can't wait to meet you!
