Hey! My name is Rowan Tennant, and I have been an older sister for fifteen years. I am responsible, empathetic, and I have a good sense of humor. I am currently taking a degree in Nannying and Child Care, and I went to St. John for several years and know the basics of first aid, though I have never taken a professional course. I also own a car and a learner's licence, and just finished my Defensive Driving Course. I also have a verified Criminal Record Check, and have never broken the law.
I'm looking for full or consistent part-time work so I can move to Glenview, Hamilton (I am currently situated in Te Awamutu). I would be able to leave my current job at two weeks notice, and I already have a place lined up so I would be able to move out promptly. I would love to be established in a family who needs constant love and support, and to be able to take care of the children in it as they grow up so that they always have the same person to depend on, without any need of constantly changing minders or nannies. I love all kiddies, but would prefer to care of babies if possible, and would have a limit of two to three kids, depending on age and personality.
I was a professional cleaner/babysitter for three years at my first job, and I've been working as a cafe front of house staff member for about fifteen months, so I'm good at communicating with people, and helping out with housekeeping and chores as well.
I am able to bus to and from work depending where my employers are situated, and I've got good sturdy legs for walking. I am hoping to get my restricted licence soon, and then I will be able to drive independently as well.
My goal is to meet the needs of my employers, and to care for their children and their house according to their wishes, to the best of my ability.
