Dear Host Family,

My name is Maxwell a 22-year-old young man from Kenya, and I am very happy to introduce myself to you.Being raised in a small town and in a family of 4 children.I am truly excited about the opportunity to become part of your family.

I have strong experience working with and caring for children. I have volunteered and taken care of children in an orphanage home during covid 19 pandemic period, where I helped with daily routines, meals, homework support, playtime, and emotional care. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and how important it is for children to feel safe, heard, and loved.

In addition, I worked as a nanny for one year, where I was responsible for the children’s daily activities, preparing meals, helping with schoolwork, organizing fun and educational activities, and ensuring their safety at all times. This role helped me develop a deep understanding of how to bond with children and become someone they trust and feel comfortable around.

I also trained children’s football in my local community. Coaching helped me learn how to motivate kids, encourage teamwork, build confidence, and maintain positive discipline. I enjoy being active with children, playing games, teaching new skills, and supporting their growth both emotionally and socially.

I truly believe that bonding with children is about creating trust, understanding their personalities, and being a positive role model. I would love to be like a big brother to your children — someone they can laugh with, learn from, and rely on.
