My name is Kalara, and I’m very happy to introduce myself to you. I have always loved working with children and supporting their learning and growth.

I spent one wonderful year in Germany as an au pair, where I took care of three lovely children and became part of a warm and welcoming family. After that, I continued working with children through my Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) in a Kita, where I supported teachers and cared for toddlers in a nurturing and educational environment.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, as I’m hoping to build my career as an Early Childhood Educator in the future. Before coming to Germany, I also worked in Sri Lanka as a volunteer teacher, which gave me valuable experience in supporting children.

I would describe myself as caring, patient, responsible, and creative.I speak English fluently and a little bit of German, and I enjoy learning more every day.
I enjoy spending time with children whether it’s playing, reading stories, doing arts and crafts, or helping them discover new things. My goal is always to make children feel safe, happy, and confident while helping families in their daily routines.
