Hi! My name is Iselin, I am 21 years old and currently studying in Odense, Denmark. Starting this autumn, I will begin my studies to become a midwife, which feels like a very natural path for me because I genuinely enjoy working with and caring for children and families.
I would describe myself as a social, positive and energetic person who loves meeting new people, staying active and creating a fun and safe environment around me. I am currently looking for a summer au pair opportunity because I truly enjoy spending time with children and I would love to combine that with experiencing a new culture and becoming part of a family for the summer.

I grew up in a very caring and family-oriented environment. Throughout my childhood, my family was a foster family for several children through the Norwegian child welfare system, which taught me empathy, patience and how to adapt to different personalities from a young age. I have also worked as a support contact (“støttekontakt”) within the Norwegian child welfare services, where I helped support children and young people through activities and social interaction.

I have always been independent and curious about the world. When I was 16, I moved to the United States for a year, and later, at 19 years old, I worked for NATO in Belgium within personnel and financial administration. These experiences helped me become mature, adaptable and confident in new environments at a young age.

I would love to spend my summer helping with the children, contributing to everyday family life and creating good memories together.
