I have over 20 years of experience working with ages newborn (3 weeks) to teens in different capacities; as a Casual Babysitter, Full-Time Nanny (Live In and Live Out) for single and dual-parent homes, Full-Time Support Staff for Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (school aged children ages 6-14), Full-time Support Staff for Egadz Youth Outreach Programs (hard to serve youth) and as a Parental Care Worker and Facility Youth Worker with teens in the justice system (Corrections), where I currently work for the past 10 years. I have completed 2 years of University education majoring in Psychology. I have also worked extensively with special needs children/youth; ADD/ADHD, FASD, Autism, Behavioral Issues and those with therapeutic needs (medications, etc). I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do with young people of all ages.
In addition to basic childcare I am capable of assisting with the following household duties: light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, baking, meal preparation, administrative duties, pet care, house-sitting, and homework/tutoring. I have a strong work ethic and will almost always do more than what is required of me because I take pride in the work that I do and enjoy helping others.
I have a valid Driver's License and can provide my Driver's Abstract upon request. First Aid/CPR are up to date. References Available.
