I am a 29 year old Canadian female, currently on island with a Temporary Work Permit set to expire April 12, 2012. I have over 15 years of childcare experience working with ages newborn to teenagers in different capacities; as a Casual Babysitter, Full-Time Nanny, Full-Time Support staff for Saskatchewan Foster Families Association and Full-time Support Staff for Egadz Youth Outreach Programs in Canada. I have completed 2 years of University education majoring in Psychology (Child Development). I have also worked with special needs children (Premature, FAS, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Issues).
On the interpersonal side; I am engaged to be married on island in December 2012 and my interests include being outdoors, the gym, reading, current events, travelling, working with at-risk youth and being involved in my church.
My ideal employer(s) would be supportive, caring, reliable, open and honest with good communication skills and can expect the same from myself. I am interested in a long-term position from 1 year to 6 years.
