Hello! I'm Cait. My friends describe me as a non-stop coach, a go-giver, the planner -or "glue"- that keeps people together, as well as fun to be around. I hold the potential for Mama Bear energy for protecting those in my care, but I typically try to keep life steady and resilient to outside pressures. I am comfortable turning everyday experiences into learning opportunities, as well as weaving lessons, beliefs, and values into everyday discussion to support overall success and morale.
I was a babysitter through secondary and post secondary schooling, contributing to the academic and recreational upbringing of 3 core families with 2-3 busy kids over 8 years.
I coached teens and young adults for 18 years -some with special needs, and in numbers ranging from 15-100+- acting as a coordinator, coach, and chaperone in numerous international travel arrangements across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Whether for a busy family, children, or adults with assistance needs, I am adaptable and find a way to be relatable to all in my care.
Attention to detail, quick judgment in new surroundings, and keeping those in my care safe and tended to, are natural skills.
As a (now casual) remote coach and consultant in small business, I tend to the needs of my clients in a holistic manner: addressing underlying emotional, relationship, and lifestyle contributions to stress, before working through practical structures and systems that support overall goal attainment.
I bring my warm personality, diverse life experiences, resilient outlook, and sunny attitude to all of my work; problem-solving and enhancing flow wherever possible.
Formerly a partnered homeowner and admitted workaholic, I have chosen to shift my life toward pursuing fulfillment in living differently. While I am open to full time hours, I hope to pursue part time schooling in psychology in my spare time, to further my coaching abilities and potential for positive impact.
The crossover from my personal and professional work to providing supportive companionship and assisting to a well-matched household is beyond natural. I can remain strictly professional or enjoy humour and friendship as is appropriate.
I hold the personal belief that life is beautiful and every day is a new opportunity to do better. I share a warm and encouraging progress-over-perfection motivational style, though I have high expectations for myself and others to live as well as we can. I respect structure, and will assist with disciplines and resiliency training where requested.
