My name is Thuany, and I am a former Au Pair with two years of childcare experience in the United States. During my exchange program, I had the opportunity to care for young children of different ages while becoming part of an American family’s daily life and culture. This experience helped me grow both personally and professionally, and it strengthened my passion for working with children in multicultural environments.

Portuguese is my native language, but I speak fluent English and also understand Spanish. I hold a degree in Languages and Education in Brazil, and I worked for two years as an elementary school teacher teaching languages to children. I truly enjoy supporting children’s learning, communication, creativity, and emotional development through meaningful interactions and positive guidance.

I am a calm, patient, and adaptable person who values kindness, responsibility, and mutual respect. I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with children — whether through educational activities, outdoor play, reading, arts and crafts, or simply encouraging their curiosity and confidence as they grow.

In addition, I have a driver’s license and driving experience, I can swim, and I hold a First Aid and CPR certification from the American Red Cross. My previous childcare and professional references are available upon request.

In my free time, I enjoy riding bicycles, visiting museums, making puzzles, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. I am also vegetarian and absolutely love cats.
