Hello! My name is Sophia! I am a college student at University where I will enter their dental program after this summer. I am based in Arizona, but I am originally from San Diego, California. I am currently working for my mom’s business and at a golf course near my home. Additionally, I nanny and pet sit month to month for families in my area. I have played club soccer most of my life and played one year in college. I love to stay active and try new things. Some of my hobbies include hiking, going to the gym, reading, yoga, cooking, traveling, and learning new things like surfing or snowboarding. I grew up in a family that loves to cook at home and sees trying new foods as an experience. Generally, I love the outdoors and enjoy keeping my body moving. I am very outgoing and love to meet new people. I find value in learning about new cultures and making connections with people from all over.

Now, I have plenty of experience with kids from the ages of 1-13 and with many different pets from turtles to horses. I have babysat since I was about 13 years old and have always been great with kids. It all started when my little cousin moved in with us when she was about 2 years old, and I just loved having her around. After that, I started to watch about 15 kids on Sundays for 2 hours, while their parents did a bible study. The kids ages ranged from 9 months to 7 years old. I then started to watch 2 little girls down my street, the oldest 8 years old, and the youngest 2 years old. I would make them lunch or dinner, clean up the dishes, help potty train the youngest, watch them swim in the pool, and entertain them. Currently, I watch a 4-year-old boy every Thursday and pick him up from preschool. I also watch two families' kids together every other weekend: Two 8-year-olds, one 6-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 2-year-old. I love to do art with the kids or take them to go do different activities.
I have taken a CPR class and was certified, but plan on getting recertified within the next couple of months.
I am looking for a family that would be open for me to spend this upcoming summer with them before I go back to school. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
