I started nannying professionally in 2018 through Nanny Agencies in Jacksonville. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the kids as young as two weeks old to 17 years old. I’ve worked with twins, triplets and multiple siblings; essentially up to 4-5 kids on my own. I have experience with transportation to and from school, home, activities and even the airport. I have experience as an overnight Nanny while parents were away for vacation or work trips. Also experience as a mother’s help and house manager: Preparing meals for the entire family, preparing bottles with breast milk formula. Children’s laundry, organizing the playroom and overall home, cleaning up after the kids, doing dishes etc. I’ve also been a travel nanny and I’ve even met up with a family in Orlando for two consecutive weeks while they were on vacation to celebrate the holiday. Along the way I also started to coach gymnastics. I would coach parent and tot classes, preschool, recreational, and competitive gymnastics. I am CPR first aid and AED certified for children and adults. I’ve also recently taken a lifeguard class for the camp I volunteered for this past summer. I have built up my list of families through my outstanding references and recommendation stations. Most families I’ve cared for today have been recommended to me by other families or they are kids that I used to coach. Non smoker, can pass a background check, reliable and insured transportation, comfortable with pets. AS in Early Childhood management.

Kids are truly my passion and that hasn’t faltered over the years. This time in their life is the most crucial time to build long lasting, stable and meaningful connections that don’t just exist inside family. It’s important for kids to know that there are people who care for them outside of that and not just because of the obligation of being a family member.
All the families I work for are considered extended family to me, it is not just a means of work, they truly have become people who support and care for me as I do for them. I hope any family that I work with in the future becomes family more than just employment. Friends will describe me as hardworking, determined, kind, caring, thoughtful, assertive. I’m also funny, outgoing, open minded, and empathic. Past families would describe me as a self starter and very intuitive. I’m the type where if I hear a parent say they need to do something, I’ll get it for them or write it down for later. If I notice a parent is running around and hasn’t done something as simple as drink water, I’ll bring them a glass. If I hear a child yelling for their parents that they need something and I know that parent is busy or seems overwhelmed, I will get what the child needs and let the parent know I got it, especially if it’s a home with multiple children. I’ll take note of parent and child’s behavior patterns and look for the warning signs so I know where to intervene and keep things mellow if possible. I am the extra set of hands, and love to help things run smoothly.
