Introduction
Hello! My name is Ava and I’m a 17 year old babysitter with a flexible schedule! I have a passion for working with children of all ages which was what led me to this job. I am currently a junior at Casteel High School, and will be transferring to mostly online classes in January of 2026 for more availability, (I am available to start immediately but won’t be as flexible till January). Also at Casteel High School, I have completed an Education Professions program where I learned all about early childhood development and education etc. From this class I was also able to work as an assistant teacher in a 3rd grade classroom at Auxier Elementary School! This taught me countless skills in regards to childcare and education. Additionally, I help out weekly at my church in the 1 year olds classroom, as well as babysit for family and family-friends! From all this experience I have been able to work with children from ages 5 months-10 years! I am a very creative person and don’t believe in just sitting your children in front of a screen. I love being able to come up with fun games and creative ideas to keep your kids entertained and busy, while also helping them learn, and grow their developing brains!
