Hi am Vivian Thanks for taking the time to read this — I know there are a lot of profiles to go through, so I'll try to keep it real and give you a sense of who I actually am.
I don't have a fancy nanny certification or years of professional experience, but I've spent a lot of my life around kids — younger siblings, cousins, neighbors' kids I've babysat for since I was a teenager. It's the kind of experience you don't put on a resume, but it's taught me a lot: how to handle a meltdown without panicking, how to keep a bored kid entertained on a rainy afternoon, and how to earn a child's trust just by showing up consistently and following through.
If you asked the families I've worked with to describe me, I think "responsible" would come up a lot. I take routines seriously — bedtimes, mealtimes, homework — not because I'm rigid, but because I know kids do better when they know what to expect, especially with someone new in their life. You won't have to worry about whether I'm following your rules or cutting corners when you're not around.
That said, I'm not all schedules and structure. I genuinely like being around kids, and I think that shows. I'll build the blanket fort, do the silly voices during story time, get messy with an art project — whatever makes the day fun for them.
I only speak English, but I'm looking forward to that being part of the adventure — picking up a new language, learning your routines and culture, and figuring things out together as I settle in. This isn't just a stepping stone for me; I want to actually become part of your family's daily life while I'm there, not just fill a role.
A few honest things about me: I show up when I say I will. I'll tell you how the day actually went, good or bad, instead of just saying "everything was fine." And I'd rather ask a question upfront than guess and get something wrong.
