Introduction
I am from Puerto Rico and have a unique background in caregiving, family support, the arts, and cultural traditions. Since childhood, I have been involved in dance, theater, sports, and the arts, while always having a deep passion for caring for and supporting others. My journey with mothers and families began in 2012 as a birth and postpartum doula, followed by my work as a midwife’s assistant beginning in 2015. Since then, I have continued learning about traditional midwifery and holistic family care through experiences in different countries. From 2024 to 2026, I worked with Mujeres Ayudando Madres (MAM) in Puerto Rico. Today, I am especially interested in dedicating my experience and passion to caring for children. I currently work as a babysitter and bring a loving, respectful, patient, and holistic approach to supporting children and their families. Spanish is my first language, and I understand English well; I have intermediate conversational skills and am continuing to develop my speaking fluency.
