Dear host family
My name is Yvonne, 28 years old,single and I am excited about the opportunity to become your au pair. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I hope this letter helps you get to know me better.
First of all I come from a big and loving family. I have two brothers ,Vincent (29) Jeray (22) and three sisters ( Jen 28)(Estep 17 (Mara 14). My 2 little sisters since they were babies, I have helped my mother take care of them. As they grew older, I continued supporting them with their daily routines. Now that they are in junior high school and college, I prepare their meals, help them get ready for school, and take care of many household chores because my parents currently live in our province while I stay behind to look after my siblings.
Growing up with these responsibilities has taught me to be patient, responsible, independent, and caring. Looking after my siblings has given me valuable childcare experience and helped me understand the importance of creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment for children.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Financial Management. While studying at the University of Baguio, I wored as a Student Assistant for 2 years and half .This experience taught me discipline, time management, and the importance of balancing responsibilities.
After graduating, I served as a Youth Leader in our community for five years. As a public servant for the youth, I planned and led programs and activities that promoted self-development, leadership, and positive values. This role strengthened my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and deepened my passion for working with children and young people.
Currently, I work as an Administrative Assistant at the Cordillera Golfers Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting charitable and civic programs throughout the Cordillera region. Our foundation focuses on education, healthcare, and sports initiatives to help people and communities in need. Through this role, I have developed strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to serve others.
I also have two cats ( Hiro & Nutmeg) and two dogs( Hockey & Maggie), so I am comfortable around pets and enjoy taking care of animals.
For me becoming an au pair is more than just an opportunity to travel it is a chance to become part of a new family, experience a different culture, and share my own culture and values with you. I hope to bring kindness, patience, responsibility, and a positive attitude into your home. I will care for your children with love and respect, just as I have cared for my own siblings.
