I have more than 2 years of experience working with children. I worked as a teacher in Paje, Zanzibar where I cared for children aged 1 to 5 years old. I also have experience as a nanny and babysitter. I truly enjoy this age because children are so curious, funny, and full of energy.
I am a patient, caring, and responsible person. I love engaging children in creative play, reading stories, singing songs, doing arts and crafts, and helping them learn new things every day. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and have fun.
I am also happy to help with light household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry. I love cooking and I would be excited to learn new recipes from your country and also share some traditional dishes from Tanzania with you.
I speak fluent English and I am very motivated to learn your language and culture. I am open-minded, respectful, and I love meeting new people. My goal as an Au Pair is to not only help your family, but also to become a big sister and friend to your children.
