My name is Alexandra, I am Franco-American and I am 37 years old. I am an environmental filmmaker. My husband Fritz is German and is 36 years old. He is an architect here in Berlin.

We have decided to find a housekeeper/nanny to come live in our home because I work in the afternoons/evenings with my staff in the USA and my husband works full time. We need someone to manage the household and help with house cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping and preparing meals as well as help care for our 2 year old daughter.

We live in the western center of the city. Our 4 bedroom apartment is on a quiet residential street with lots of trees, parks and little shops - a really cozy neighborhood. Just 5 minutes away is the Kurfürstendamm which is the western main street of the city and a center for shopping and restaurants, and a convenient hub for public transportation that can take you anywhere in the city. Berlin is a particularly international city and it is easy to meet people from many different backgrounds who are here for all sorts of reasons. Berlin has great museums, galleries, art scenes, historical monuments, and more. Summer is especially lovely and Fritz, who is a life long Berliner, can help you get acquainted with the city and settled in.
