Hiring Live-In Housekeeper - Must Relocate to Masset, BC in Haida Gwaii

6 months, 30 - 40 hours per week, 5 days a week

Do you have experience running a busy household, and dream of living close to nature, forests, beaches and in a small community? We may have the perfect position for you as a Live-In Housekeeper in the community of Masset on the islands of Haida Gwaii in northern British Columbia.

We're looking for an experienced live-in housekeeper to support a professional working family & help with our day-to-day needs managing a busy household. Your main duties will include housekeeping, laundry, pet care, yard work, gardening, meal preparation, collecting mail, running errands, grocery shopping & car washing. We will work together to create a schedule on the best way to organize the household.

We have three dogs & one cat that live inside. We are located in Masset, a rural community of 2,000 people in northern British Columbia & would cover airfare tickets to relocate for the job, as well as accommodation.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends & holidays.

Qualifications:
2+ years in nannying or housekeeping role in a live-in position
Experience managing a busy household
Experience living in a small community or rural area
At least 5 years of total paid work experience
Self-sufficient & independent, but works great in a team
Punctual, client focused, dependable, flexible & trustworthy
Excellent interpersonal skills & strong command of oral & written communication in English language
Legally able to work in Canada
Valid BC Drivers License not necessary, but would be a plus
