Dear host families my name is Tumelo, Micheal but my friends and family call me Tumi I live in Johannesburg in a small town called Springs
Performing general tasks is my thing such as mopping floors, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing all surfaces, window washing, car washing, cleaning toilets , emptying trash bins, garden maintenance & keeping attention to detail & ability to work independently or as part of team work most of all ensuring all areas of the house are clean, tidy & pleasant
My current job I work as a live out housekeeper for a Ma’am who is a schoolteacher somewhere in the Big city . from the Morning till afternoon. 07:30 - 18:00 it’s a 42min drive for me to arrive at work.Im more of a person who is always up early and ready to work.How prioritize tasks, adhere to schedules and ensure that all duties are performed within the allocated time
•I understand where I-am by assessing my current time management habits & identifying areas for improvement & take note of how much time I spend on different tasks
•I define specific cleaning goals & set achievable targets for each tasks, breaking larger tasks into smaller tasks, manageable tasks can help you stay focused & motivated
•I prioritize my tasks based on cleaning tasks based on essential. I focus on the most critical tasks first & allocate my time accordingly
•I create a structured cleaning routine that works for me & you. Having a consistent routine that helps me to reduce time decision making. It’s allows me to work efficiently & complete tasks more quickly
•I Utilize cleaning checklist to stay organized & ensure that all tasks are more completed
• I allow myself for regular breaks through out the day to prevent burn out & maintain productivity
•I then organize by having designated spaces for my cleaning supplies & equipment that I’m given to use. Nothing saves time by eliminating the need to search for items & ensuring that everything is easily accessible
•I communicate clearly with my home owners & guests about time expectations for different tasks. By setting realistic expectations, so I can avoid unnecessary pressure & ensure that my time is allocated accordingly
• And I always avoid distractions all the time, during my working hours I eliminate or limit personal phone use & other interruptions creating a dedicated & focused work environment where I can concentrate on my tasks without unnecessary distractions
•Kind warm regards about my work experience I would highly appreciate to discuss how I might fit within your family and I believe bringing my work abroad to learn new cultures and language in a new environment first hand is an opportunity to both develop personal growth & professional work experience
