I have been given many offers, I found that many offers appeared to be looking for someone right away, and I prefer to speak to people for a while before making a decision. I found a lovely family who looked in advance for an au pair and I spent a month talking with and getting to know them before we both felt we were a good fit for each other. I would recommend anyone to use this website, but would also caution them to take their time, when receiving offers, talk with the family, get to know them as best you can before you commit to a job. Some of the families who approached me I felt pressure to accept the job with them, but as this encompassed only a few of the many people who messaged me I was able to disengage with the conversations.
