Dear Host Family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Aileen and I am 31 years old. I lived in Taal Batangas, Philippines. I am currently living with my parents and in a house that is located in an area full of nature. My mother is a senior citizen with an active and business mindset. She sells coffee beans and delicious Filipino delicacies in our town market. My father previously works as company driver in Manila but later on decided to end his contract due to health issues. I have two brothers who both work in the city and one sister who is attending the 10th grade of secondary school. We also have two dogs and two cats at home. I grew up from a simple, supportive and loving family. My family likes gardening together and sing karaoke too.
I am a motivated individual, hard-working, honest, open-minded, helpful, trustworthy, responsible person and with a great sense of humor. I love listening to music, reading books, traveling, learning different cultures, meeting new people and definitely making new memories.
They say oldest child grows with their parents and I think that is true. Being the eldest among my siblings, I am also in-charge of taking care of them and protecting them when my parents are away from home because of work when we were young. I help them with school works and teach them on how to manage the house on doing household chores. I also babysit my younger cousins and doing some tutor before. I love children and enjoy spending time with them. Through this time, I have developed the ability to bond really well with kids and blending in very easily because of my loving and funny nature.
I would love to become your next Aupair because I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations.
I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
