Introduction
Hello! My name is Afag, but many people also call me Fufa. I’m Sudanese and currently a college student in Albany studying to become a pharmacist. Because I’ll be back home in Brooklyn during my school breaks, I’m looking for babysitting, pet sitting, and tutoring opportunities during December 2025–January 2026 and May 2026–August 2026.
I have 2 years of experience working at a daycare as an assistant teacher, where I cared for children from ages 1–5. In that role, I supported daily routines, helped with learning activities, prepared snacks, supervised playtime, and created a safe, positive environment for every child. Working closely with other teachers and families helped me build strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to handle different personalities and needs with confidence.
Outside of the daycare, I’ve also gained hands-on experience caring for my younger sister since she was small, tutoring students in math, and helping friends and neighbors with pet sitting. I genuinely love working with children and animals, and families can trust that I’m responsible, respectful, and always focused on safety.
