Family's Introduction to Au Pair
We are an English very easy going, happy household looking for someone that is kind and caring.

It very important to me that the right candidate is kind, fun, easy going, considerate and proactive. They must be able to drive.
Part-Time Nanny/Household Help Position live in or out
Location: Mallorca, Spain
Hours & Compensation:
• Approximately 25 hours per week from April to September
• Two days off per week & two weekends off per month
• Flexibility for longer days off when not needed, with the understanding that I may travel for up to 5-7 days per month
Responsibilities:
• Occasionally taking my daughter, Gigi, (7 years old) to school or picking her up
• Caring for Gigi when I travel (approximately once a month)
• Light household tasks, including laundry, tidying up, and occasional meal prep for Gigi
Schedule:
• Mornings: Gigi wakes up around 7:00 AM, and we leave for school at 7:50 AM (school starts at 8:00 AM)
• Afternoons: School finishes at 4:45 PM, and I typically arrive at 4:15 PM to secure parking
• Free time between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, except for occasional errands as needed
Flexibility & Travel:
• You are free to travel, visit family, or see friends on your days off with prior notice
• If not needed on certain days, you are welcome to take longer breaks, as long as it’s understood that I may be away for extended periods (5-7 days at a time)

Job Overview:
seeking a warm, experienced, and responsible nanny to care for a newborn baby. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with newborns, a nurturing personality, and a strong understanding of infant care, including feeding, sleep routines, and development milestones.
For the first 3-6 months, the nanny must be comfortable with night shifts, ensuring the baby’s needs are met while allowing the mother to rest. Whether live-in or live-out, a private bedroom will be provided for overnight care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive and loving care to the newborn, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Establish and maintain healthy sleep and feeding routines.
• Assist with nighttime feedings, diaper changes, and soothing the baby back to sleep.
• Support the mother with postpartum recovery and newborn-related tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baby’s nursery and play areas.
• Sterilize and prepare bottles, assist with breastfeeding if needed, and introduce solid foods when appropriate.
• Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Handle baby’s laundry and ensure baby essentials are well-stocked.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a nanny, particularly with newborns.
• Knowledge of infant care, sleep training, and child development.
• Warm, patient, and reliable with a calm and nurturing approach.
• Fluent in English
• First aid and infant CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Non-smoker and physically fit to handle newborn care.
• Willingness to travel if needed.
• Flexible with working hours, including overnight care for the first 3-6 months.
