We are expecting a little girl in Dec 2023! Looking for a “mother’s helper” to help with care of the newborn after the 2 month mark. We are self employed and have a varying schedule, some days working from home some days in and out. Mother will be very involved in the day to day care of the newborn, teenager kind of fends for himself. Some light cooking/cleaning is required, we do have a cleaning crew that comes twice per week so nothing heavy. We send out our laundry as well, so only some occasional baby laundry may be asked to be taken care of.
We have a vibrant social life and travel/entertain often! Looking for someone who is open to new experiences, and who is looking to become part of our family. We are flexible on time off (with notice), but are looking for someone who is ready to travel! We want to show our little girl the world.
We have two large dogs, German Shepherds, whose room is in the same wing as our future Au Pair’s, we ask they be let out and occasionally fed.
Access to a vehicle will be provided, we own and run several companies, and there are always at least one or two cars available.
We live in a 6000 sq ft home, directly on the Potomac River, 15 mins to downtown DC (by car). We are also on 2.5 acres with 400 ft of private river frontage and a dock. You will have your own room and bathroom, with a privacy door to the rest of the house, to allow for privacy and separation when off duty. We value our time alone just as much as I’m sure you do too!
