My name is Milan, and I’m a bubbly, outgoing person who loves working with children. I’m originally from a multicultural background — Hong Kong and Colombian — and speak fluent Chinese, basic French, and am learning Spanish. I hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification and a Law degree, which have helped me become caring, organised, and a good problem-solver.
I want to become an au pair so I can immerse myself in a new way of living, whilst share my own traditions, languages, and cooking with your family. I believe living as part of a household is the best way to truly connect with a country.
You should host me because I will bring warmth, reliability, and lots of liveliness to your home. I’m confident in looking after children and love being part of a family — whether it’s helping with homework, preparing healthy meals, or planning fun and active playtime. I’m happy with big or small families, and I’d especially enjoy living in the city.
I qualify for this role through my years of childcare experience: caring for my little cousin since birth, mentoring new university students, and working as a nanny in London for two lovely girls over the past three years. I’m active, creative, and adaptable. I’m hoping for a 12-month stay, with the possibility to extend to 24 months if I find the right family.
