I’m excited to introduce myself and share a bit about who I am and why I love working with children. My name is Sasha, but please feel free to call me Ash. Creating a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for children to grow and thrive is something I’m deeply passionate about.
With one year of paid experience caring for children of various ages, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to support their learning, creativity, and emotional development. I firmly believe in learning through play, whether it’s exploring the outdoors, engaging in imaginative activities, or playing different types of games that encourage growth and development. Whether it’s helping children reach personal goals or maintaining a structured and caring routine, I take great pride in being a reliable and positive presence in their lives.
Safety is always a priority for me—I hold an up-to-date first aid qualification and a DBS check, ensuring that I can respond effectively to any situation. Additionally, having a driver’s license means I can support your family’s needs with flexibility, whether it’s school runs, outings, or other errands.
Beyond childcare, I embrace creativity, movement, and adventure. I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s exploring nature, going on walks, or engaging in physical activities like dance, yoga, and martial arts. I also have a deep passion for cooking and baking, enjoying everything from crafting a delicious sushi roll to baking a cake. And as an avid reader, I’m always eager to share stories and encourage curiosity through books.
I am a lifelong learner and constantly seek opportunities to expand my knowledge. I am currently studying Japanese, deepening my understanding of the language and culture, and completing courses like EMT Foundation and Anatomy & Physiology purely for personal enrichment. I believe continuous learning allows me to bring fresh perspectives and skills into my childcare role, fostering an environment where curiosity and education are embraced.
I am particularly interested in working in London or Japan, as both places offer unique experiences that align with my interests and passion for childcare. However, I am also open to exploring other opportunities and working in different locations that provide a supportive and engaging environment.
