Dear Host Family,
I am Belinda, a sweet 29 years old girl from Philippines but currently living in United Arab Emirates. I have grown up in the Bicol region. Living by myself when I started working has taught me how to cook and to take care of a household.
I have a big family of 11, Mom, Dad, and my 8 siblings (3 brothers and 5 sisters). My other siblings have their own family and some other three working abroad. We keep connected through videocall with my sisters during the weekend since we are far away from each other.
Regarding my hobbies, I love volleyball and badminton, and board games such as chess.I also enjoy drawing anime characters. I enjoy being around nature, love cycling and sometimes go out of town for biking adventures with my
cousins. I am very pet friendly, and we have two dogs and a cat in my home country.
My experience with children comes from my three lovely and energetic nieces and nephew, Stephanie and Ezekiel. I have taught them to ride their small bike, helped with their homework assignments, but to entertain them too, like playing hide and seek, which we had lots of fun playing it.I also have one year working experience as babysitter ages 1-8 years old.
My desire to be your family’s Au Pair comes as a perfect opportunity for both to learn new languages, traditions, how to interact with a new culture, but most importantly, for the opportunity to care for and
help your children.
Living with me is easy as I am not a demanding person and respectful of your house rules. My mom taught me to be responsible and take the household chores seriously and in the best way possible. This is my first time working abroad, but I am confident that I can adapt to the new tasks and daily routine
quickly and become a big help for you.
What thrills me more about this program is the opportunity to help people, to spend time with your
lovely children, and get to know more about your country, its people, culture, and language, which I am
looking forward to learning.
