Hello! My name is Justina (or Yi-zhen in Mandarin), and I’m a 23-year-old from Taiwan, currently finishing my final year at National Taiwan University, where I study geoscience.

I come from a warm and supportive family. I have a twin brother, and my father is a retired military officer while my mother is an elementary school teacher. Growing up in such a grounded environment taught me the values of responsibility, kindness, and discipline. My parents have always encouraged me to be independent, open-minded, and curious about the world—which inspired me to study abroad and explore life beyond my home country.

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with patience and attention to detail. These qualities not only serve me well in science but also help me in everyday situations—especially when caring for others or adapting to new environments.

### ? Why I Want to Be an Au Pair

What draws me to the Au Pair experience is the unique opportunity to live with a local family, support and bond with children, and learn about life in a different culture from the inside out. I believe this experience will enrich my perspective and help me grow both personally and culturally. I hope to share pieces of my own culture with you while learning deeply about yours.

After my Au Pair journey, I plan to continue my education with a dual master's degree between Taiwan and Japan, eventually pursuing a career that allows me to travel the world—possibly in the fields of natural resources, education, or sustainable development. Being an Au Pair is an important part of this journey, helping me become more empathetic, flexible, and connected to people from different backgrounds.

I’ve always enjoyed spending time with children and have gained experience in both informal and tutoring settings. Growing up, I took care of my younger cousin and developed a understanding of how to support children with patience and care.
