Introduction
With more than 3000 hours of childcare experience, I would be an ideal au pair. I would be pursuing au pairing for the third time. My first encounter with the cultural care au pair exchange programme was nothing short of amazing since it allowed me to travel to California and learn a great deal about children from other backgrounds and cultures. I just got back home from my first year of au pairing. Furthermore, I worked at a creche during my matric year, and I broadened my experience by babysitting during my free time. I have also worked for a family in Kenilworth as a tutor for a little boy with ADHD, and his sister who is 12 years old.
I have grown to love my job as an au pair, so I naturally develop a connection with children. I am fully trained, having obtained my CPR and First Aid certifications via the American Heart Association, and additionally I attended training to be the most competent au pair I can be. I love kids and I love to take on the big sister role to inspire and steer them into who they desire to be.
