Introduction
Hi there, Family…I am a responsible, patient, and adaptable individual. I have some experience in mentoring and tutoring students, and I have grown up supporting my younger sister, who is on the autism spectrum, which taught me understanding and empathy. I also volunteered for the PLAY Community Engagement programme, where I worked with Grade 7 learners to create fun and engaging physical activities for the class. This experience helped me develop a balance between being playful and maintaining responsibility, which I believe is important when caring for children. I enjoy baking, beadwork, and I like watching movies and series in my free time, and I am currently learning to crochet. I enjoy listening to music and find comfort in familiar routines, like rewatching movies and series. While people around me may find this worrisome, I find it comforting. One of my ongoing interests is psychology; I enjoy learning about human behaviour, mostly during development. Reading is another one of my interests, and although I read less during my studies, I have built up a small collection of books that I’m excited to return to. I am excited about the possibility of joining your family as an au pair, and hopefully, we enjoy our time together.
