My name is Jaria, I’m 19 years old and currently living in Freetown, Sierra Leone. I completed my high school education in July 2024 and since January 2025, I’ve been volunteering with the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA). This experience has deepened my love for working with children and supporting families and now, I’m ready to take this passion abroad by becoming an Au Pair.
I’ve committed myself to two years of volunteer service before starting my university studies, and becoming an Au Pair is an important part of that journey. I’m excited to join a family where I can contribute, grow, and build strong bonds through everyday moments.
I come from a warm and supportive family, and I’ve helped care for my younger brother and other children in my community. I’m cheerful, respectful, creative, and very responsible. I truly enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn, laugh, and feel safe.
In my free time, I enjoy singing, reading, drawing, tailoring, and nail design. I also love watching educational videos and learning about different cultures and lifestyles. I speak English fluently and I’m very open to learning a new language, especially while living with a host family I see it as a beautiful way to connect and grow.
Becoming an Au Pair is more than just travel for me, it’s a chance to contribute with love and care, and to prepare for my future studies through meaningful experiences abroad.
