Dear Future Host Family,
Hi, as one of those aspiring aupair I'm hoping for your interest in me. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Dan. I am 24 years old and from the small city of Loon,Bohol Philippines. With my grandparent,Abundia (80y/o), my father Danilo (49y/o) and mother Annalyn (50y/o),my (5)sisters,and(4)brothers. I am currently working as a waitress here in Doha, Qatar. We have cat and dog back home. My father's work as a motorcycle driver and my mother is a housewife. But we have a 'mini store' that could help us when in needy. My eldest sister is now applied a student visa in Australia just 2years ago, I also have other eldest sister working as a receptionist back home and the rest of my siblings are still studying. Overall, we are a pretty large family a 13 members in total.
I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, go shopping or just strolling around. Singing is one of my favorite hobbies. Furthermore, I enjoy reading a good book and singing – even though I cannot sing well. I'm undergraduate who took BS Tourism year 2019-2020.
When my 3 younger brother was born, I'm one who took care of them all when my parents weren't around. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them. I'd been in Australia few years ago as a tourist for only 3months long. The reason why I want to go to Australia as an au pair is that I want to get to know more the Australian way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills as well.
I do really hope to experience develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your whole family. I am looking forward for your response. Thank you!
