I have extensive, hands-on childcare experience through caring for my cousins, who are twins, from the time they were born until they reached the age of seven. During this period, I was also actively involved in caring for their younger sibling when the baby was born. Although this was unpaid family care, the responsibilities and commitment were very real and long-term, and it allowed me to gain practical experience in day-to-day childcare.As the twins grew, I helped guide them through developmental milestones, supported early learning through play, reading, and simple educational activities, and ensured their safety at all times. Caring for twins required strong organization, patience, and the ability to manage multiple needs simultaneously, especially when their younger sibling joined the family.This experience helped shape my sense of responsibility, empathy, and independence. Being trusted by my family with the care of their children over many years reflects my reliability and genuine love for children. I am confident that the skills I developed through this real-life experience have prepared me well for the responsibilities of being an au pair, and I am excited to bring the same level of care, patience, and dedication to a host family.
