Dear future host family,
My name is Abegael, you can call me Abby. I am 28 year's old girl, Filipino, I live in Quezon City, a beautiful small city in Philippines.
I am an cheerful, open-minded, hard working, compassionate, reliable, dedicated, trustworthy, helpful, patient, respectful, kind, organized and responsible person. I love taking care of kids and their health and safety.
I came from a large family, being one of 9 siblings. I have 7 big sisters and a young brother. My parents passed away since when I was 10th and 12th years of age. My Sisters was the one who raised me and take responsibilities of being a parent to me.
I graduated from Ligaya National High School. I also have Vocational course in Caregiving. I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories.
I would describe my strength as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children and elderly especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them.
I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming, and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
