Introduction
My name is Jornah I am 50 years of age, originally from Philippines. I would like to sincerely introduce myself as the Caregiver who will be supporting and assisting you or your loved one. It is a great privilege to be considered for this role, and I am fully committed to providing care with respect, patience, and compassion. I am a College graduate and a Certified Caregiver. having completed formal Caregiving training. As part of the program, I was assigned by the school to complete my On-the-job training (OJT)in a hospital setting, where I gained real life experience assisting patients and hands-on skills with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility support, feeding, taking vital signs, bedside care, medication reminders, companionship, and home safety for the elder- all under the supervision of medical professionals. In addition to my training, I also have personal experience caring for elderly family members with health conditions, including my late mother. Through this, I’ve learned the importance of kindness, attentiveness, and consistency in providing comfort and support. Professionally, I worked abroad as a Food server in a palace /hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I served both adults and children in a high-standard hospitality setting. I also assisted children whenever their nannies were unavailable, and also helped te housekeeping staff when needed. These responsibilities taught me to be adaptable, responsible, and sensitive to the needs of both adults and children in various situations. As your Caregiver, I am ready to help with daily routines, ensure comfort and safety, and provide companionship with dignity and understanding. If there are specific preferences or routines you would like me to follow, I am more than happy to adapt. If given the opportunity, I am fully willing to relocate and undergo any additional training if required and commit myself fully to this role. Thank you so much for the trust.
