Dear Family,
My name is Angelica Nicole but my friends call me Nikka. I am 26 years old and a graduate of Bachelors of Science in Commerce major in Marketing Management. I live in the wonderful country of Philippines. I am a trust-worthy person, responsible, easy-going, dedicated and hard working person. I love taking care of kids and their safety, environment and especially their happiness.
Ever since I was 16, we decided to move in to our grandparents house because my parent got separated. From that moment, I stood up not only for myself but for my siblings as well. I’ve become a parent to them until today. My mom is currently living in the province with her Mom she’s taking care of her because she’s sick while my Dad is currently in Singapore working at airport. Even if our family is broken, we managed to value the love and respect for them. Growing up, I always protect our environment to a safer one and always chose to surround myself with positive and fun people.
I enjoyed most of my time as a young adult. I love travelling, attending concerts, social gatherings, and fun activities because I always love exploring things such as meeting new people, hearing and understanding their stories, their culture and especially making new fun memories.
My strength as an Au pair will be the ability to connect with the kids, form a bond, and I wanted to mentor them as they grow in different aspects of life. I always wanted to make them feel that I am their big sister, guiding them through and through and that they are safe with me. While my weakness is that I’m easily attached to somebody to the point that it is hard for me to detach from the emotionally and physically.
In the future, in God’s plan, I wanted to stay in Europe not just for me but to support my family here in the Philippines too. I always wanted to provide them a better and safer future.
I am looking for a Host family that would he happy to have me as part of theirs—a pure, kind, genuine and welcoming. And will let me stay for more than a year depending on the connection that will form with the family.
