Dear Future Host Family,

Good day! I am Rose, 22, currently a graduating student living in the Philippines. Au Pair is something I stumbled upon on a social media and I find it interesting. I am aware that Au Pair is a cultural exchange program and not a job/work which completely alligned with my interest because I do not want to be tied to any work yet in the meantime. Au Pair will be a great way for me to travel and explore Europe while meeting new people and creating new memories.

I am a diligent, patient, amicable, straightforward and resourceful person. I enjoyed the company of children and I had experience of volunteering to an orphanage for 3 months wherein I take care children 0-10 years old.

As I am a graduating student, I would like to finish my study first and graduate before embarking to my Au Pair journey. I will be graduating in September 2024, and I started to look for my host family so that we will have time for the process the necessary paperworks.

To my future host family, I hope that we could meet soon and be family. I would do my best to do my obligations and create wonderful memories with you and the children.

I am a genuine person and adaptable. I consider myself as an introvert person and sociable but I value my private time. I am friendly and amicable and I mirror the people I interact with, when you're kind and respectful, I will reflect the same. I am fond of reading books and trying recipes for cooking or baking. Although I do not consider myself to be that good in terms of cooking/baking but I have fun doing it and can do simple meals.

I enjoyed walking or biking especially with a good scenery. I find it quiet relaxing to be connected to nature. I also play chess and try doing arts and crochet in my free time. Lastly, I enjoyed travelling and mostly travel alone here in the Philippines and experience different places hence I would like to be an Au Pair.

If I am given the opportunity to be an Au Pair, I would like to experience the culture of the country and its history. One of the destinations I would like to visit is the museum which contains historical information and valuables that showcase the rich culture and history of the country. I would also like to study the language by either conversing with my host family or enrolling to a language course if I have the budget.
