My name is Be-ann. I am a 27-year-old (female) from Datu Piang, a third-class municipality from Maguindanao Del Sur, Philippines. I come from a family of 4: My Father is already deceased. My mother and my brother are a local government unit employee in our town.
I have already finished my degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of my comfort zone to try and have different life experiences. To this end, I think spending time abroad would be particularly interesting.
My first language is, of course, Filipino, and I am also fluent in English. English is widely spoken in the Philippines, with the majority of its inhabitants speaking the language at some level. I am particularly interested in experiencing family life abroad, since it offers a cultural context that is undoubtedly different from mine. For this reason, I would very much like to find a nice family to live with and work for.
When it comes to child care experience, I was volunteering as an assistant to my mother which is a full time Day-Care worker. I am assisting her in teaching, children activities and taking care of the children under her care.
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book.
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them.
