My name is Maria Cie, and I am a 28-year-old licensed professional teacher from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education majoring in Filipino and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. For the past seven years, I have been working as a public school teacher, where I have gained extensive experience caring for, teaching, and guiding children of different ages and backgrounds.

I come from a loving and close-knit Filipino family, and I was raised with values such as respect, responsibility, kindness, honesty, and hard work. These values have shaped me into a caring and dependable person who genuinely enjoys helping others and making a positive difference in their lives.

Working with children has always been my passion. As a teacher, I have learned how to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and develop confidence. I enjoy helping children with their daily routines, educational activities, homework, creative projects, and social development. I believe every child is unique and deserves patience, understanding, encouragement, and care.

In addition to my professional teaching experience, I also gained childcare experience while supporting myself through college as a working student. This experience taught me independence, flexibility, responsibility, and the importance of building trusting relationships with both children and families.

I would like to become an Au Pair because I love working with children and I am excited about the opportunity to experience a new culture while becoming part of a host family. I look forward to sharing my Filipino culture, traditions, and values while learning about your family's culture and way of life. I believe cultural exchange is a wonderful opportunity for personal growth, learning, and creating lifelong friendships.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and participating in activities that encourage learning and creativity. I am also eager to improve my English skills, learn new traditions, and experience everyday life in a different country.
