Greetings of Peace!
I am Jolina, typical Filipina and have simple living here in the island. I describe myself as hard-working, easy going, respectful, dedicated and responsible person. I always have the positive outlook in life. At first, I admit I might be shy but later on, once I am comfortable, I will bring positive vibes and laughter. ? As I heard about this program, I immediately search and gathered some information about this cultural exchange. Ever since, I’d dream to travel abroad and want to experience and explore new culture, new language and meet other people. Anyways, to be honest I don’t have any paid experienced in child care handling but since I am the eldest daughter, I prefer say I took good care of my 2 younger brothers and last 2019, an 8-months old baby came to our house and I experienced to take care of her. I treat her as our youngest sibling and kind of daughter. I am responsible and independently bought clothes for her, milk, diapers even vitamins and her birthday celebrations. I bought school supplies and teach her for her kindergarten preparation. Anyhow, as eldest, I find it rewarding to help them learn and grow. If you give me a chance, I’d be very happy to guide your kids and treat them as my younger siblings and teach them core values on how to be a good kid and being respectful to elders most especially to you-as their parent. From your busy days, I will be the eyes to look for the welfare of your child not just physically but also mentally and in emotional aspect. As I live in the island, some of my hobbies and interest is nature hike and going to beaches. I am also a volunteer, helping communities through clean-up drive, tree planting, coastal clean-up and feeding programs. Anyhow, if given a chance, living with me is easy since I am not a picky person when it comes to food. Actually, I became excited to know more about how the daily life’s routine there. I know how to cook and I am willing to learn your cooking style. Household chores is my thing, I assure you, I can handle. ?
