Hello! My name is Akiera, and I’m so excited about the opportunity to become an au pair for your family.
Although I don’t have formal childcare training, I have plenty of hands-on experience taking care of my sibling, nieces, and nephews. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, responsible, and loving toward children. I enjoy spending time with them, helping with their routines, and seeing them grow.
One of the things I love most is learning about new cultures. I lived in Taiwan for over a year, where I fully immersed myself in the local culture and way of life. That experience helped me become more independent, open-minded, responsible and adaptable.
I also work part-time as a housekeeper, so I’m very comfortable with household chores like cleaning and organizing. I also enjoy cooking! I can make traditional meals from my home country, and I’m very open and excited to learn how to cook dishes from your culture too.
I grew up with pets, so I’m also happy to help take care of any animals in the house like feeding, walking, and giving them lots of love!
I consider myself as sweet, lively, adventurous(I'm someone who loves travelling), and creative person. I love singing, dancing (especially contemporary dance and gymnastics), doing arts and crafts, and playing musical instruments like the guitar and ukulele. If your children are interested, I’d love to share these hobbies with them and help them explore their creativity too!
I’m also a natural leader and an achiever—I enjoy helping others, staying organized, and doing my best in everything I take on. I can assist your children with their homework and offer support with their studies in a fun and encouraging way.
While I don’t know how to drive yet, I’m open to learning if needed.
