My name is Catherine, and I am from the Philippines. I am currently an incoming fourth-year college student at Leyte Normal University, where I am taking up a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Science. So, I am a future Science teacher and I can also teach English. I have always loved learning and meeting new people, and I believe that every experience teaches us something valuable. My family and friends would describe me as responsible, caring, patient, and someone who can easily adapt to new situations.

The reason I want to become an Au Pair is because I want to experience life in a different country while becoming part of a family instead of just being a visitor. I am excited to learn about your culture, traditions, and daily life, and I would also love to share mine with you. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with children. Their curiosity, honesty, and energy always make me smile, and I find it rewarding to help them learn, play, and grow.


I have also spent a lot of time taking care of my baby cousins while their parents were busy. I genuinely love babies and children, and I enjoy playing with them, helping them with simple tasks, reading stories, and making sure they feel safe and happy. Being around kids never feels like a chore to me—it is something I truly enjoy because seeing them smile brings me happiness too.
