I would describe myself as caring, responsible, patient, adaptable, and easy to get along with. I enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I understand that every child has a different personality, and I always try to approach them with understanding, kindness, and positivity.
Most of my childcare experience comes from taking care of my younger sister since she was a baby, especially when my mother started working abroad. As the eldest sibling, I became more involved in her daily routines, helping with school preparation, studies, meals, playtime, and other responsibilities at home. I also help care for younger relatives and toddlers, which helped me become more patient, attentive, and responsible in handling children of different ages.
I enjoy helping children learn through simple activities, creativity, conversations, and everyday routines. I also like outdoor activities, music, movies, and spending time with family. In addition, I can help with light household tasks such as tidying up, organizing, folding laundry, and preparing simple meals when needed.
One of the reasons I want to become an au pair is because I want to experience living in another country, learn more about different cultures, improve myself independently, and create meaningful memories with a host family. I believe cultural exchange is a beautiful experience where both the au pair and the family can learn from one another.
