The first thing you should know about me; I absolutely adore children because I think that children are the most unpretentious, intelligent and sincere beings on the face of the earth. Their pure energy, their beautiful aura, their inability to pretend, their innocence; it's just all so contagious! When you converse with a child, you never have to worry about hidden agendas and I find it so refreshing. To top it all up, children have an amazing sense of humor! You should also know: I am a patient, hardworking and easygoing person with a degree in French and international relations. I am currently a French and English language instructor for kids aged 4 - 17. I also babysit for my sister and cousins all the time. Furthermore, I am a seamstress here in Nigeria and I love to sew. I am a great cook and I have wonderful time management skills because I work as a teacher, seamstress and a freelancer online simultaneously! Above all, AGAIN, I love children. I love to sing, dance, listen to music, read books, travel, sew, and be creative. I grew up in a house with lots of siblings and relatives; as a result, I understand children, I do not mind noise and I have lots of practical experience handling kids. I have also worked as a babysitter, nanny and a child care giver for over 10 years here in Nigeria. This has allowed me to acquire lots and lots of experience catering to children. I have had to learn how to be a negotiator, a business woman, a mediator, a good guy and a few times, a bad guy because of the time I have spent with children. I would love to be your au pair because I believe I would be the best thing to happen to any host family. Not only do I have formal experience working with children (as a teacher and a nanny), I also have practical, hands-on experience haven lived with children all my life. I am also very hardworking, handy and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I love to cook, clean, organize and keep a tidy household. I am also able to help their children with their homework and school projects. I am a bit of a conservative person; I have no tattoos, I do not engage in extreme sports, I only have one ear piercing (done at birth) and my favorite places to be are at home or out in nature. Asides my love for children, I also love to explore and experience new cultures, art, FOOD and ways of life. I love languages and I would like to learn Luxembourgish, Spanish, Italian and German language if possible.
The values that are most important to me are: honesty, loyalty, hard work and creativity. I also love to excel and as a result I strive to learn more and more skills everyday. I believe I would be an incredible influence on the children in my host family.
