My name is Siti Aqilah, and you can call me Aqilah. I’m 21 years old and from Malaysia. I have three siblings and I’m the second in the family. I grew up in a happy and loving home. Right now, I’m studying for my diploma, and if all goes well, I’ll graduate in early 2026.

Growing up, my childhood was full of love. Because of that, I always carry happiness inside me, and I believe children deserve the same, to feel loved, cared and surrounded by kindness. That’s why I want to become an Au Pair. For me, it’s about giving attention and listening to kids little stories, just like a big sister would.

I don’t really have professional childcare experience since I’m still a student, but I do spend a lot of time with my younger cousins. Playing and spend day with kids taught to me be more patience. It is important to make kids feel safe and loved. Even small things like laughing together or answering their curious questions.

I also want to share that I’m Muslim. I know sometimes families may wonder about cultural or religious differences, but please don’t worry. I’m open-minded and respectful, and I believe kindness matters more than differences.
