My name is Mercy, I am from Kenya, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become part of a warm and caring family as an au pair. I speak fluent English and I am currently learning German and Spanish online, as I enjoy learning new languages and experiencing different cultures.
I have over six years of professional childcare experience in Saudi Arabia, where I worked with children of different ages, from infants to teenagers. My responsibilities included supporting daily routines, helping with homework, preparing meals, organizing educational and creative activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring a safe, structured, and loving environment. I also supported emotional development, behaviour guidance, and helped children with English learning.
In addition to childcare, I also have experience supporting elderly care, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to adapt to different needs. I am a calm, caring, and reliable person who always tries to create a positive and respectful environment for the people I care for.
I enjoy spending time with children through reading, outdoor play, baking, crafts, and learning activities. I always try to make sure children feel safe, happy, and encouraged in their daily lives. I believe every child is unique, and I enjoy supporting them in a way that fits their personality and needs.
