Hello dear host family,
My name is Carlotta, I am a 20-year-old girl from Italy and I am very excited about the idea of becoming an au pair and joining a family abroad.
I am a caring, patient and responsible person, and I am especially very kind and gentle, particularly with children. I truly enjoy spending time with them, helping with daily routines, playing together and creating a safe, calm and positive environment.
I have experience with children through babysitting, helping family members and working as an educator in summer camps. These experiences have taught me how important attention, empathy and reliability are, as well as the ability to adapt to different ages and personalities.
I adapt easily to new environments and situations. In the past, I have had two study holiday experiences, during which I stayed with host families, learning how to respect routines, communicate openly and live together with different cultures.
I would describe myself as empathetic, creative and open-minded. In my free time I love cooking, doing sports, playing the piano, singing, reading a lot, and watching movies, especially romantic comedies. I enjoy sharing simple and positive moments in everyday life.
I am happy to help not only with tasks related to the children, but also with household duties that support the whole family, as I believe cooperation is an important part of living together.
For me, becoming an au pair is not just about building a trusting relationship with a host family, but also about something very meaningful for my personal growth and my life. It represents an opportunity to reconnect with places where I have felt truly happy, such as New York and London, and to live fully again after some challenging years mainly focused on studying. I believe this experience would help me grow, rediscover myself and move forward with renewed energy and motivation.
