Introduction
Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Zaskya. I am 21 years old and from the city Jakarta in Indonesia. With my mom, Aminah (43), Jihan (19), Sheeren (15), Aurel (12), and my little brother Jimmy(6), I am living in a house that is located in an area full of buildings and public transport. My mother works as a seller. Jihan is currently attending the 3rd semester of university. Sheeren is in her 10th grade, Aurel 7th grade, and Jimmy 1st grade. Overall, we are a kind of large family, I have 30 cousins.
I would describe myself as a reliable, funny, goofy, silly, interesting and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
I took care of children of all ages from different families. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. I am now taking care of my little brother Jimmy who is in primary school with like does his homework, look after him, play with him, go shop together, watch movie, and more stuff when our mum is busy with her orders, i also help her when we have over orders. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.
The reason why I want to go to France as an au pair is that I want to get to know the French way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills and learn French as well.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. Become their big sister. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
